STORAGE<\/h6>

Jewelry should be stored in compartmentalized boxes to separate items according to the materials they are made from, or in pouches made of very fine, smooth, non-fraying fabric.<\/p>

Jewelry boxes should be kept in spaces protected from dust, light, humidity and dirt.<\/p>

Gold jewelry should not be stored together with steel, bronze, brass or common alloy jewelry.<\/p>

Cultured pearls must be kept away from contact with metal objects or precious stones. Do not expose stones to sunlight or strong light as they can naturally lose their color and brilliance.<\/p>

Handle faceted stone jewelry with particular care. These can scratch easily and facets can be damaged. Avoid contact with metals or any other agents that could degrade them. Store them in boxes, in special compartments lined with soft fabric, or in velvet or silk pouches, each separately.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>

Do not subject jewelry to mechanical shocks: drops, impacts, jolts of any kind, etc.<\/p>

Do not expose jewelry to contact with water and chemical products (sprays, detergents, bleach, chlorine, thinners, petrol, etc.).<\/p>

Do not wear pearls or jewelry with precious \/ semi-precious stones together with metal chains or other stone-set jewelry as they can scratch. Handle pearl jewelry with care, as their settings are not resistant to mechanical shocks.<\/p>

Do not expose jewelry to sunlight for extended periods as it can lose its shine or become discolored.<\/p>

Do not apply perfume, body cream or other cosmetic products directly onto jewelry to avoid possible chemical reactions between the various chemical components.<\/p>

Do not wear jewelry during sports, household or other activities during which it may be scratched, damaged, deformed or broken. In the case of stone-set jewelry, stones may be scratched, cracked or lost.<\/p>

Remove jewelry before sleeping as during sleep you may damage, deform, scratch or break it.<\/p>

Open bracelets, earrings, necklaces and chains with care, as rough handling of the clasp mechanism can cause it to malfunction.<\/p>
